The Troy Foundation "Love Where You Live" Fund will match donations made to the library or other tax deductible organizations in Troy up to $1,000. Matching gifts will be made on a first come, first serve basis until the available funds are depleted. Please consider donating to the Foundation and designating the library as your charity. Thank you!
The north entrance (parking lot entrance) is now closed for construction. During this time, the library can be accessed through the West Main Street entrance. There is a ramp for wheelchair and stroller access. The Friends of the Library will not be accepting book donations while their room is closed off during construction. For your convenience, there is a temporary outside book drop on the parking lot side of the library. We thank you for your patience!
The Troy library's public internet computers will be unavailable 12-4 p.m. Saturday, October 1 so that we can present the "Bigfoot in Ohio" program.
"All of us at INFOhio are excited to say that Book Nook (booknook.infohio.org) is now live"!
Book Nook is a site devoted to student-created book trailers. It gives students a place to share the books they are reading and learn about the books other students across Ohio are enjoying.
What's more, Book Nook is ready for new submissions! The site is open to all Ohio K-12 students. Check out the guidelines and rubric for submission. Then when the book trailer is finished, just complete the short submission form. The Book Nook team will review the content within five days. Students can submit their work, or teachers and librarians can submit on behalf of students, but the book trailer needs to be done by kids for kids.
The north entrance to the Troy library will be closed for construction, beginning Monday, Nov. 14, 2016. During this time, the library can be accessed through the south entrance. There will also be a ramp for wheelchair and stroller access. The Friends of the Library will not be accepting donations while their room is closed off during construction.
The south entrance to the Troy library is closed for renovation of that area until around Nov. 22. The north entrance to the parking lot will be available during this time. We realize this could be inconvenient for some people who use the south doors, however closing an exit was a better option than closing the library while work is done. Please do not try to access the building from West Main Street but use the north entrance instead. The north entrance will be closed for construction, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the earliest. During this time, the library can be accessed through the south entrance. There is a ramp for wheelchair and stroller access. The Friends of the Library will not be accepting book donations while their room is closed off during construction.
