Or are YOU the grandma who wants to make sure that your great grandma‚Äôs butter churn does not get thrown into the garbage? Lately, we have noticed an upward trend of patrons coming into Local History who are looking for information on their historic house. Sometimes we get lucky and there is a file; sometimes not. Learn where to look for clues to discover your house’s past. Included in the discussion is a short case study on a Shelby County farm and an ongoing remodeling project of an 1895 Miami county farmhouse from Patrick Kennedy Archivist atTroy Local History Library, Jennifer Freytag, former Library Assistant, and Sandy Gurklies, Library Assistant. Presented at Troy-Miami County Public Library, 419 W.
